His artistic path initially began as a professional musician and composer. He graduated from the Conservatory of Music Giuseppe Verdi in Turin, obtaining the title of master in composition after a ten-year course of study. During a residence in France, he discovers tango and dedicates himself to it from the first moment with great devotion. Soon after, he works as an assistant teacher and refines his training in Buenos Aires, among other places. Together with Elena, he ran his own tango school in Turin and now in Bern.

FORMATION & REFINEMENT

We are certified federal tango argentino instructors with the national diploma of technical qualification issued by FIDS/CONI (Italian National Olympic Committee). We completed our professional formation at the academy of excellence Metro Tango with Vanesa Villalba and Facundo Piñero as technical directors and Javier Rodriguez as artistic director; patronized by La Academia Nacional del Tango de Buenos Aires, CETBA (Centro Educativo del Tango de Buenos Aires) and AMBCTA (Asociatión de Maestros, Bailarines y Coreógrafos del Tango Argentino). Our artistic paths are founded on the study of music; therefore, our teaching style is based on the relationship between music and the dynamics of movement.

We are constantly refining our formation with different teachers and dancers in various locations. In 2021 we were selected in the audition to study and complete the annual closed training of the Tango Ballet "El Cxuce Tango" under the direction of Vanesa Villalba and Facundo Piñero. In the same year, we were coached for several months in an intensive training program by Gianpiero Galdi and Lorena Tarantino. In 2022 we refined our formation in some of Gianpiero Galdi and Lorena Tarantino's invitation-based intensive seminar weekends alongside other professionals.

The main tango maestros who influenced our formation were Vanesa Villalba and Facundo Piñero, Gianpiero Galdi and Lorena Tarantino, Anìbal Montenegro, José Fernández, Martina Waldman, Juan Cantone.
