Indira Hiayes & Rodrigo Palacios are a tango couple where elegance meets intensity, and tradition finds new expression through emotion and presence. Their dance is built on connection, musicality, and a shared search for authenticity — where every movement tells a story that belongs to both of them. Through their performances and workshops around the world, they share tango as a living art form — one that unites cultures, hearts, and moments.
Together, they will offer four workshops at the LUNA NEGRA TANGO WEEKEND and perform a show during the milonga — a clear highlight of the weekend.

EL CACHIVACHE QUINTETO LIVE AT LUNA NEGRA
On May 10, 2026, we are hosting a SPECIAL MILONGA featuring two live sets by the world-famous tango orchestra EL CACHIVACHE, straight from Buenos Aires.
El Cachivache Quinteto is currently one of the most renowned tango groups worldwide and firmly established on the international music scene. Their style is often described as “Tango Punk” — marked by unmistakable creativity, a strong and unique musical identity, and outstanding danceability.

Milonga La Frida is inspired by a painting that hangs in our living room and that we looked at when we were looking for a suitable name for our Sunday milonga.
