REGISTRATION

Registration is made through our booking platform Eversports, which is linked from www.pye-tango.com. You will receive a confirmation at the email address you provide. Registration is binding.

Course fees are payable before the course begins. We will send you an invoice with a QR code. Alternatively, you may pay in cash at the studio on the first evening of the course. We do not accept TWINT for course fees.

​

The courses on offer, the number of lessons and their duration are listed on www.pye-tango.com and on the booking platform. Courses are generally taught in couples.

​

If a course is fully booked, you can join the waiting list. We will contact you as soon as a place becomes available.

By registering and paying the course fee, you accept the conditions set out here.

​

Additional booking conditions apply to the Luna Negra Tango Festival. They are set out in the relevant registration form and are accepted when that form is submitted.

OFFERS AND PRICES

All prices are listed with the respective course offerings and apply per person.

​

• Course block: you book the entire course block and have a fixed place.

• Course block, reduced: for students and people on a low income. You select this ticket yourself when registering; we do not ask for proof.

• Drop-in: single course evenings, subject to availability. Please contact us briefly in writing beforehand and organise your own dance partner. Drop-in is not possible for courses that are fully booked.

• Full Pass: if you have already booked a course block, the Full Pass gives you access to the other regular courses running in the same period for a flat fee. We will agree together which courses these are. Practicas, technique courses, workshops and fully booked courses are excluded. Please organise your own dance partner.

NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS

PyE Tango reserves the right not to run a course if the minimum number of participants is not reached. In this case, registered participants will be informed in good time and any fees already paid will be refunded in full.

CANCELLATION FEES

Cancelling a course involves administrative work. Depending on when you cancel, the course fee is either waived or remains payable. What counts is the date on which your cancellation reaches us. The following applies:

​

• more than 14 days before the course starts: free of charge

• 14 days or less before the course starts: 100 % of the course fee

• no-show without cancellation: 100 % of the course fee

If the person unable to attend provides a substitute who meets the course requirements and actually attends the course, no cancellation fee applies. We are happy to help find a substitute but cannot take responsibility for doing so.

MAKE-UP LESSONS AND COURSE CHANGES

Missed lessons are neither refunded nor credited. They can be made up in another course during the current course block; a short message in advance is enough. Unused make-up lessons expire at the end of the course block.

If one partner of a couple is replaced by a substitute, either that substitute pays for the lesson or lessons taken, or the person originally registered forfeits their claim to them.

​

In special situations such as a prolonged absence or illness, please get in touch with us before course start. We will find a solution together.

 

DATA PROTECTION AND RECORDING RIGHTS

Data collected during course registration is treated confidentially and is not passed on to third parties for advertising purposes. We use the booking platform Eversports for registration, course administration and invoicing; the data required for this is processed there on our behalf. If you have any questions about your data, please contact info@pye-tango.com.

Filming during lessons is only permitted with the consent of PyE Tango. Such material is for personal use only and may not be published on social media.

PyE Tango is entitled to use photo and video material created during lessons or events for its own promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be filmed or photographed, please let us know before the course or event begins.

​

ABSENCE OF A TEACHER

We generally teach our courses as a couple; technique courses are an exception. If one teacher is unavailable, the course may be taught by a single teacher or by a substitute teacher. In such cases there is no entitlement to a refund of the course fee.

​

INSURANCE AND RESPONSIBILITY

Participation is at your own risk. Each participant is responsible for their own insurance against accident, theft and damage to property. Any liability on the part of PyE Tango is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

​

USE OF FACILITIES

All facilities are to be used with care.

​

FINAL PROVISIONS

Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction for any disputes is Bern.
